USAG Team Coaches

Donna Tremblay, Owner, Nationally USA Safety Certified, KAT-MELPD accredited certification, First Aid and CPR certified.
Donna teaches preschool and recreational classes, and is a USAG team coach. She has over 20 years of teaching experience. Donna is also a former competitive gymnast. 


Sarah Shaw, Program Director, USAG Team Coach, preschool & recreational instructor, First Aid and CPR certified.. Sarah has been training and working at NSG for 14 years. She is the 1995-1996 Level 7 State Champion gymnast, and she coaches the pre-Team and Level 4-6 Compulsory and Level 7-8 Optional teams here at NSG. Sarah earned her B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and is a great resource for all the staff members here. 



Prep Opt Coaches


Cherie Turgeon, gymnastics and cheer coach. Cherie began gymnastics at age 2 and began competing at age 6. She competed at Level 8 state competition. She also competed for the Dracut High School Gymnastics team. Cherie currently teaches recreational and team students at NSG.  She is certified in CPR, First Aid, KAT, MELPD and is a professional member with USAG. Cherie is also a certified massage therapist. 


Sarah LaPorte, gymnastics and cheer coach. Sarah has a varied background, including the United States Air Force. She began gymnastics at age 8 and competed for 6 years, up to level 9. She competed in two AAU Junior Olympic Games. She has coaching experience with ages from 3-13, and has been coaching gymnastics for 5 years at NSG. 
 

Pre-School Instructors


Betty Jane “BJ” Walsh, USAG preschool & recreational instructor, First Aid and CPR certified.. BJ has been teaching at NSG since we opened the doors in 1981. She has 4 children, and her youngest daughter trains with the Prep Opt team at NSG. Her favorite part of teaching children is when they start grasping the concepts of body mechanics. We are fortunate to have BJ’s 25 years of expertise and experience here at NSG!
